PDCgems aims to offer you a varied selection of fine and precious stones. This online store is the little sister of Pierres de Charme located in downtown Montreal. We are a mother and daughter duo, both gemologists who are passionate about colored stones and have been selling them since 2012. You will find in our shop various minerals, collector's items, cabochons with spectacular inclusions as well as a jewelry selection and closeouts. 

Our passion is to find exceptional stones at the best price for our customers. To do this, we travel the world and this is how we have created strong links with reputable suppliers in producing countries such as Burma, Sri Lanka, Brazil or East Africa. 

Our team

Martine Lavoie, president of Pierres de charme Inc. obtained her gemmology diploma and the title of FGA in 2012 (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain) and created the company the same year. She has over thirty years of experience in the business world. Her strength at Pierre de Charme is that she has added to her talents as a dynamic entrepreneur, a solid knowledge of gemology and valuation of stones and jewelry.

In 2015, her daughter Bénédicte Lavoie joined Pierres de charme. After obtaining a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, she trained in gemology and obtained the internationally recognized title of FGA with distinction (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain). In 2018, she learned the art of stone cutting in Bangkok, Thailand. She is, among other things, in charge of online sales and social media.

After a career in jewelry sales, Sylvie Guer joined the team in 2018 in gemstone sales and advice. Having in her pocket a certificate in gemology and a good knowledge of jewelry, she will answer all your questions!
